Hi, I’m Jenessa, Founder of Coastal Consignment. With a deep appreciation for timeless design and the stories objects carry, I founded JW Coastal Consignment to offer a refined, virtual consignment experience that honors both the seller and the item. My passion lies in creating meaningful connections helping individuals thoughtfully transition their cherished pieces to new homes while preserving value and reducing waste. This vision was sparked when a close friend faced the daunting task of moving across the country. With only days before her move and the difficult choice between discarding or donating her remaining furniture and home goods, I stepped in. In just one week, I curated, photographed, listed, and sold her items, generating over $3,000 in sales and transforming what could have been loss into meaningful recovery.

That experience revealed a greater purpose: turning the ordinary process of selling personal belongings into something intentional, seamless, and elevated. Today, JW Coastal Consignment stands as a trusted virtual platform much like real estate for furniture and home treasures where quality pieces find their next chapter with care and sophistication. However, I don’t just sell furniture. I have sold cars, kitchens, clothes, handbags, speakers, e-bikes, motorcycles, electronic devices, beauty supplies, art, car chargers, workout equipment, and so much more. With over 60 five-star reviews from both buyers and sellers, I remain committed to delivering exceptional service rooted in integrity, attention to detail, and a genuine desire to help others.

At Coastal Consignment, we believe in a collaborative and transparent approach to pricing that honors the true value of your pieces while maximizing your return.

The process begins with a personal visit to your home. During my in home visit, we will carefully review each item together. You will share your preferred selling price as well as your minimum acceptable price. This allows me to manage all buyer inquiries and negotiations with confidence and professionalism, ensuring you remain removed from any back and forth discussions. 

Pricing is guided by current market comparables, the item’s condition, brand, and demand always with your input and approval as the foundation. Should a buyer wish to view or collect an item in person, I will personally meet them at your location at a time that suits you. You are welcome to be present or step away whichever makes you most comfortable.

Our commission structure:

• For items sold at $100 or more, we apply a 60/40 split in your favor you retain 60% of the final sale price, and I receive 40%.

• For items sold under $100, we split 50/50.

I manage every detail photography and videography, listing, buyer communication and negotiation, in person meetings for viewing and pickup, payment processing, and final settlement so you simply review and confirm the payment once the item is sold.

This intentional approach ensures your treasured pieces are presented with care, sold with integrity, and transitioned gracefully to their next chapter.

I retain discretion on all acceptable items.

For items sold at $100 or more, we apply a 60/40 split in your favor you retain 60% of the final sale price, and I receive 40%.
